I'm Anna Curran, RN, BSN, PHN - and I've been a nurse for over 30 years.
I started as an LVN in 1993. Got my RN in 1997. Worked Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, ICU, and fell in love with the ER — where I stayed for 20 years. I've also worked as a Critical Care Transport Nurse, moving the sickest patients between facilities.
For 4 years, I stepped into the classroom as a Clinical Nurse Instructor for LVN and BSN students. That's where NurseStudy.Net was born.
My students were struggling — not because they weren't smart, but because the resources available to them weren't written by people who'd actually been at the bedside. So I started writing my own materials. Care plans, study guides, pharmacology cheat sheets — built from 30 years of clinical experience, written the way I taught.
